State Police Release Name of Woman Killed on Route 95 Near Mansfield-North Attleboro Line

The Lynn woman was killed in a four-car crash last weekend.

Police have released the name of a woman who was killed last Sunday in a four-car crash near the Mansfield-North Attleboro line on Route 95.

Rom Tim, 65, of Lynn, was killed when the vehicle she was a passenger in was hit by another car according to the Sun Chronicle.

Last Sunday morning, state police responded to a four-car crash near exit 5 on Route 95 North. According to a preliminary investigation, a 27-year-old from Revere driving a BMW lost control of his vehicle and hit a Ford Explorer. The collision caused the Explorer to roll over into the median while the BMW became disabled in the travel lane and was struck by a Lexus driven by a 25-year-old from Dorchester which was hit by an Audi S5 operated by a 32-year-old male from Revere.

One occupant in each vehicle was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. Tim was pronounced dead at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.

The five occupants of the Ford Explorer were transported to area hospitals. The identity of the deceased female is being withheld pending family notification.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. No charges have been filed.
