Xfinity Center Concertgoer Charged With Trying To Take Officer's Gun
An Attleboro teen who was taken into protective custody faces charges after attempting to grab an officer's gun.

ATTLEBORO, MA — A man who was being held in protective custody in Attleboro during Saturday's Luke Bryan concert at the Xfinity Center attempted to grab a police officer's gun, police said.
Shawn E. Aalto, 18, of Marston Mills, on Cape Cod, was arraigned Monday in Attleboro District Court. He pleaded not guilty to attempting to disarm a police officer, assault and battery on a police officer and being disorderly. He is free on $2,500 cash bail, according to the Sun Chronicle.
Saturday night, Aalto was at the Xfinity Center show when he was taken into protective custody and transported to the Attleboro Police Department. While his handcuffs were being taken off, Aalto allegedly reached for Detective Matthew Cook's gun before officers had to restrain him.
