MARBLEHEAD, MA — A $5,000 reward has been offered for information that leads to the identification and arrest of a suspect responsible for a Pleasant Street construction site fire early Monday morning.

The State Fire Marshal offered the reward after the Marblehead Police Department earlier this week sought the public's help in identifying the man in the photo (above) who was seen on security footage at the private construction project around the time of the fire.

Police said at about 1 a.m. on Monday they responded to an alarm at the site. They found a fire at the project and were able to quickly extinguish it.
