3. Beverly man allegedly threw hammer at woman passing him on sidewalk in apparently random attack (bostonglobe.com) — A Beverly man is accused of randomly throwing a hammer at a woman on a residential sidewalk, an incident caught on surveillance video. Court records note he was previously arrested in Marblehead in 2022 during what his sister described as a mental health crisis, with that earlier case later dismissed.
