Express Yourself Hosts No Foolin’ Benefit Celebration

Express Yourself hosted its annual benefit fundraiser, No Foolin’, last Saturday night, March 30^th, for nearly 100 friends, supporters and guests, at its Rantoul Street studios in Beverly.  The evening’s entertainment was provided by the many talented singers, dancers and guest artists who are currently rehearsing for Express Yourself’s upcoming show “Viva”, to be held on May 15^th at the Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre in Boston. Guests were encouraged to join in with the performing fun and soon all were singing, dancing and drumming along. With delicious edibles provided by Marino’s Café, assorted raffle prize drawings and delicious pink Cosmopolitan cocktails, the evening raised over $5,000 that will supplement funding for Express Yourself’s ongoing youth programs.

 Attending No Foolin’, and participating in the performance fun was State Representative John Keenan and his wife Kara McLaughlin, Interim Director, the House of the Seven Gables, Pingree Headmaster Tim Johnson and Jenn Groeber Nicolas D'Onofrio , Boston Children’s Hospital and wife Julia.

Express Yourself celebrates the power of creative arts and changes lives of underserved youth in the community and in residential treatment facilities.
