Artists Show Growth at Abbot Public Library

A new exhibit titled Growth gets underway at the Abbot Public Library on Friday.

The five artists involved are concurrently exhibiting at the library and the Marblehead Arts Association.

Their exhibit at the MAA is Metamorphosis.

The Growth exhibit at the library is about the artists’ progress as they grow their creative visions.

Janet Albert morphed from a well-known potter to a painter.

Holly Chin morphed from commercial art to experimentation with different media. She will be giving a collage workshop at the library on Thursday, August 20 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Susan Kauder once taught art, and now collages and assembles with eclectic materials.

Roseann Mark has changed styles over many years of painting and has been a gallery owner.

Barbara Rafferty delights in the pure joy of it all.

The exhibit runs at the library through August 31.
