Audition for Beauty and the Beast Jr. at MLT!

Attention young actors and friends of MLT! We are delighted to once again be producing a December musical for families to enjoy together at the holidays. This year's production will be Beauty and the Beast Jr. to be performed December 10 through 19. Auditions will take place on Friday, September 10th from 3:30pm to 5:30pm & 6:00pm to 8:00pm, with callbacks on Saturday, September 11 from 1 to 4pm. Rehearsals are September 13 through December 1 on Monday and Wednesday from 5pm to 7:30pm and Tuesday from 5:45pm to 7:45pm. Tech week begins December 6.

We are seeking a diverse cast of young actors. Our previous December youth theater productions have been very entertaining and well received just in time to celebrate the holidays.

Please arrive at the start time for the audition. We will teach you a song to sing for the audition, so you do not need to prepare anything ahead of time. Dress appropriately for the auditions (i.e. comfortable clothing and NO FLIP FLOPS!).

We also want to make you aware that there is a performance/production fee for participants in Beauty and the Beast Jr. The fee is $200 for the first child, and $150 for each additional child in the same family.

Please note: All actors and staff must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 for this production. Please bring proof of vaccination to your audition.
