Bicycle Patrol Locates Drunk Man on the Railroad Tracks
Plus, after-hours drinking and vandalism on school grounds and an employee gets stuck in an elevator.

At 7:58 a.m., a caller reported an “ongoing problem” with “after-hours visitors, vandalism and drinking on school property” on Brook Road. The caller wanted to request additional police patrols of the area and also get some ideas regarding increased security.
At 11:47 a.m., a woman reported she was “verbally abused” by a tow truck driver in a private lot.

At 5:26 p.m., a caller reported their daughter was receiving inappropriate text messages from an unknown caller.

At 7:22 p.m., an employee became stuck in an elevator at a Lafayette Street business. The person was freed using an override key and the elevator was rendered “out of service” until a technician could look at it.
At 8:07 p.m., a caller said an “out of control” guest was refusing to leave. The person ended up leaving prior to police arrival.
At 9:28 p.m., a caller reported a drunk man was stumbling around and yelling obscenities in the area of Heritage Way and Bessom Street. The responding officer reported he could hear the individual and it appeared he was walking down the railroad tracks. A member of the bicycle unit went to assist and located the man “being disorderly” by Maverick Street. The man was transported home where the man’s girlfriend’s son took responsibility for him.
