Find your next great read, chat with your neighbors, work on one of our community puzzles or just enjoy a quiet morning. Locally brewed Atomic Coffee from Marblehead’s Blue Canoe Cafe will be provided, as well as coffee fixings and a selection of tea. Bringing your own mug is encouraged! No registration, no cost - simply stop on by.

The Marblehead Museum will debut the new the Road to Independence Walking Tour on Friday, April 17th at 7pm and Saturday, April 18th at 10am and 1pm.
The tour will feature the history of Marblehead in the early 1770s, highlighting the town’s pivotal role in such famous events as the Boston Tea Party, the Battle of Bunker Hill, and the resistance to British taxes.
The tour will also explore controversial stories, including attacks on local Loyalists. In addition, tour guide Jarrett Zeman will explore the contradiction of Marbleheaders fighting to end their political “enslavement” by Britain while enslaving Blacks in their own homes.
Ticket prices include a $1 ticketing fee.

Bring characters to life through personality traits, emotions, dialogue, and point of view! This three-week writing workshop series is designed to help students ages 8-12 strengthen their writing skills and enjoy the creative writing process. Each session will combine age-appropriate instruction with entertaining and engaging activities to reinforce core writing fundamentals.
Students will have the opportunity to practice developing narratives, work on sentence structure and word choice, and build confidence in their writing, all while enjoying the process of creating and sharing their own original work in a group setting.

Instructor Jessica Lederman is a junior at Gann Academy, where she serves as assistant editor and writer for the student newspaper. She has taught multiple writing classes for elementary-aged students and loves to read and write in her free time.

This is the show that started it all. K POP DEMON HUNTERS Dance Party &amp; Sing-Along is our high-energy touring family experience that has been packing out dance floors around the country. It is a live DJ-led party built for kids, tweens, and parents to actually enjoy together — not just watch from the sidelines.
Expect huge sing-alongs, big energy, crowd interaction, K-pop dancers, and a full dance floor from the minute the music starts. Parents always come in thinking they’re just bringing the kids and then end up singing, dancing, and having the best time too. That’s the whole point. It’s No Sitter Necessary in real life.Note - There is also a 4pm show for the tween/teen crowd. Still ALL family friendly, but a little louder and a little more geared toward the older crowd.

Marblehead Arts Association

Marblehead Arts Association’s “Variations 2026” exhibit has its Opening Reception on Sunday, April 19th from 2pm-5pm. This juried 8-week show displays a wide variety of inspiring artworks by artists from all over the US, including California, New Orleans, Chicago, New Jersey and Tennessee. 
As MAA Executive Director, Xhazzie Kindle expresses, “We’re delighted with the high level and variety of art we received to be juried for this year’s Variations exhibit in all three categories of Fine Art, Photography and 3D. We’re excited to highlight the talents of artists from across the country, and look forward to welcoming art lovers and visitors to enjoy this tremendous show from mid-April until mid-June.”
“Variations 2026” Opening Reception is Sunday, April 19th with complimentary refreshments, and awards will be presented for each of the three art categories. The exhibit runs from Saturday, April 18th through Saturday, June 13th 2026 at 8 Hooper St, Marblehead MA.
MAA galleries are open Wednesday to Sunday 12pm-5pm. Entrance to the exhibits and reception is free of charge. Donations gratefully received.

Boston MedFlight is a nonprofit organization providing the highest level of critical care transport by air and ground to patients in need—regardless of their circumstances. For more than 40 years, since our founding in 1985, we have set the standard for clinical excellence, safety, and compassion in the air medical industry. Our tagline, “Your Life. Whether responding to an emergency scene or transferring a critically ill patient between hospitals, our team delivers seamless, patient-centered care during some of the most challenging moments in a person’s life. As a nonprofit, we are guided by one unwavering principle: every patient deserves access to lifesaving care, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. Each year, Boston MedFlight provides more than $7 million in free and unreimbursed care, ensuring no patient is ever turned away. Our clinical teams are among the most highly trained and experienced in the world, caring for patients of all ages—from premature infants to older adults—across a wide range of conditions. These include adult and pediatric trauma, complex medical emergencies, cardiac and stroke events, high-risk obstetric and neonatal care, and specialized interfacility transfers. Our work is supported by a state-of-the-art fleet of Airbus H145 helicopters and Freightliner mobile ICU ground vehicles, each equipped with advanced technology comparable to leading hospital ICUs.
