Kids will explore how structures can move and connect by building with ZOOB construction toys. Using simple connection patterns, participants will create 2D and 3D geometric shapes and expand them into larger, more complex designs. The ZOOB pieces are used during the program so participants can experiment with different connections and discover how repeating simple patterns can lead to flexible, articulated structures.
Space is limited to 10 participants ages 8-12, and online registration is required. Please register at tinyurl.com/Zoobs-kids. This program is led by Dan Saulnier, Technical Resource Specialist at the library.
Funding for this program has been provided by the Abbot Public Library Foundation.
