Kids ages 8-12 can explore 3D design with Tinkercad in this session, suitable for both new and returning participants. New users will receive a brief introduction to the software and how the library’s 3D printers work, while returning participants can continue working on their own designs with guidance as needed. Participants will save their files with the library staff and pick up their printed item at the Main Desk later. Take home a small pre-printed 3D fidget toy at the end of the session!
Space is limited to 10 participants ages 8-12, and online registration is required. Please register at tinyurl.com/June-2026-3D-kids. This program is led by Dan Saulnier, Technical Resource Specialist at the library.
Funding for this program has been provided by the Abbot Public Library Foundation.
