Discover inspiring artworks in these Solo Exhibits at Marblehead Arts Association by Juried Artists - Lucia Balinbin, Annette Sykes, Jessica Murdock, Christen Mailler, and Richard Honan, as well as “The Spirit of ‘76” themed Artist Members exhibit. Admission is free and complimentary refreshments will be served, with opportunities to view the exhibits and meet the artists.
“The Spirit of ‘76” is a special exhibit celebrating this country’s 250th anniversary. Channeling the 1876 classic painting by Archibald Willard, this curated collection of artwork by MAA Artist Members broadly explores such themes as patriotism, revolution, resilience and legacy in varied art forms.
These exhibits run from Saturday August 8 to Saturday September 19, with Opening Reception on Sunday August 9, 2-4pm. MAA galleries are open Wednesday to Sunday 12-5pm. Entrance to exhibits and reception is free of charge. Donations gratefully received.
