Explore how electricity can produce sound by building simple circuits with Snap Circuits. By connecting speakers, sound boxes, wires, and switches, participants will generate different tones and volumes depending on their arrangement. The Snap Circuits sets are used during the program so participants can see how input, output, and power control the sounds they hear from speakers. This program is led by Dan Saulnier, Technical Resource Specialist at the library.
Space is limited to 10 participants ages 8-12, and online registration is required. Please register at tinyurl.com/build-circuits.
Funding for this program has been provided by the Abbot Public Library Foundation in partnership with the Oliver P. Killam Foundation.
