Explore 3D design with Tinkercad in this session, suitable for both new and returning participants. New users will receive a brief introduction to the software and how the library’s 3D printers work, while returning users can continue working on their own designs with guidance as needed. Attendees will save their files with the library staff and pick up their printed item at the Main Desk on a later date. Pre-printed 3D fidget toys will be given at the end of the session to take home. This program is led by Dan Saulnier, Technical Resource Specialist at the library.
Space is limited to 10 kids ages 8-12, and online registration is required. Please register at tinyurl.com/3D-for-Kids.
Funding for this program has been provided by the Abbot Public Library Foundation in partnership with the Oliver P. Killam Foundation.
