During this welcoming, hands-on workshop, you’ll be introduced to the unique qualities of soft pastels, exploring value, light and color as you create your own pastel painting. You’ll be guided in composition & observation, and learn the fundamental techniques of mark-making, layering, blending, depth and form. The workshop is designed to build confidence and teach the knowledge for you to paint independently. Workshop runs 9am-2pm. Bring a bag lunch.
