Recent research shows that up to 45% of dementia cases can be prevented by addressing risk factors throughout our lives. In this illuminating lecture, Dr. Stephanie Rogers will identify actionable, easy-to-understand steps, like nurturing your friendships, prioritizing physical activity and caring for your hearing, that meaningfully protect our cognitive health. Whether you are looking to safeguard your own mind or support a loved one, you will learn why it is never too early, or too late, to take action.

Maeve Hartney, Chief Program Officer of Massachusetts Road Scholar Programs, will lead a viewing of the online lecture at Abbot Public Library, followed by a discussion session.

Registration is required and limited to 35. Please register at tinyurl.com/Age-Well-Brain-Health. Can't attend in person? Please register for the program or join the Wait List. Everyone who is registered will be sent the recording.

This program is sponsored by the Friends of Abbot Public Library.
