Children are invited to our weekly Wednesday program with stories and movement led by early childhood educator Debbie Leibowitz. Story Time A-Go-Go is a lively, interactive program for kids ages 1-4 years old held in the Event Center, or outside in the Courtyard depending on the weather.

Create your own 3D designs using TinkerCAD in this hands-on workshop led by Dan Saulnier, the library’s Technical Resource Specialist. This session will focus on designing models for printing. Participants who are new to the workshop can receive a brief overview of the design software and printing process, while those who are returning can continue developing their own projects with guidance as needed. Save your files with library staff and pick up your printed item at the Main Desk on a later date.&nbsp;
If you’re completely new to 3D printing, join the library's 3D Printing for Adults Demonstration when it is next offered for a more comprehensive introduction to the technology.&nbsp;

Ghost in the Machine: Film Screening and Discussion of Artificial Intelligence

On Wednesday, Oct. 21 the Open Mic will convene at 7 p.m. with Lee Freedman, the “renegade poet laureate of Swampscott,” as the featured reader. Freedman leads the Tin Box Poets of Swampscott, co-hosts the video podcast series “In Other Words” with his friend and SpoFest founder, James Bryant, and is a three-time winner of the Naomi Cherkofsky Memorial Poetry Contest. A thrilling reader, Freedman has entranced audiences across the North Shore. The open reading follows. Early sign-up for a spot on the readers’ list is strongly encouraged.
