ELIZABETH DRABKIN TO PERFORM AT CLIFTON LUTHERAN CHURCH

Clifton Lutheran Church continues its Summer Music Series on Sunday July 23rd at 10.00 a.m. with a performance by Marblehead native violinist Elizabeth Drabkin. . A 2013 graduate of Marblehead High School, Elizabeth has since amassed some impressive national and international music credentials

Elizabeth Drabkin began her violin studies at the age of six. A Senior at the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University, she is pursuing a degree in violin performance under the instruction of Professor Connie Heard. Her previous teachers include Peter Zazofsky and Sophia Sogland. She was a member of the Boston Youth Symphony as principal second violin, as well as the Longy Youth Chamber Orchestra. and Longy Camerata at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA. She has performed in major cities all over the world, including Boston, New York City, Vienna, Salzburg, Budapest, and several venues across Germany. She has participated in music festivals such as the Aspen Music Festival, the String Quartet Program at Boston University Tanglewood Institute, and Music in Regensburg, Germany. When she is not immersed in music, Elizabeth enjoys hiking and yoga.

Clifton Lutheran Church is located at 150 Humphrey Street, Marblehead (www.cliftonlutheran.org). Our Sunday services begin at 10.00 a.,m.. during the Summer months. We welcome members of the general public, and we are fully handicap accessible.
