Disoriented Man Attempts to Enter Residence on Central Street

At 8:38 a.m., a call came in about a student who left home for school, but did not go to school. Units searched for the boy for about an hour before he was located.

At 8:51 a.m., a complaint came in of painters blocking the sidewalk for the second day in a row.

At 9:26 a.m., a man reported that about $5 of quarters was stolen from his wife’s vehicle overnight.

At 12:03 p.m., a man reported being harassed.

At 12:29 p.m., a 1-year-old was reported to be choking on food. The child was conscious and breathing when units arrived.

At 4:58 p.m., a found purse was turned in at the station.

At 5:33 p.m., a bike was found outside the post office.

At 5:40 p.m., a person came into the station to report that a man had tried to open their screen door while they sat in the living room. When questioned, the man seemed lost and disoriented. Police noted that the man’s sister picked him up.

At 10:06 p.m., Sean McCollum, 31, of Marblehead was arrested on an out-of-town warrant.
