Door Locks Destroyed at Marblehead High School
Plus, numerous car break-ins and a missing delivery.

Sunday, June 14
At 8:39 a.m., a woman reported her unlocked car on Barnard Street had been rifled through overnight. She found the contents of the vehicle strewn next to it and reported the only thing that appears to have gone missing is an Applebee’s gift card.
At 9:07 a.m., a man came into the station to report his wife’s car had been gone through overnight on Lindsey Street. A cup containing about $10 in change had been taken.

At 11:58 a.m., a person complained over work being done on a home across the street on a Sunday. The dispatcher explained that homeowners can do work on their homes on Sundays.
At 12:28 p.m., a man reported a package seemed to be missing from his address. He said tracking showed the package had been delivered, but it never arrived to him. He wondered if it had gone to an address with a similar street name.

At 1:01 p.m., a woman reported that she left her wristlet on the roof of her vehicle and drove away. She retraced her steps to see if she could locate where it had fallen off the car, but did not find it. Later, the woman reported that someone had dropped off the purse at her home.

At 2:34 p.m., a loud radio was reported.
At 3:15 p.m., a door alarm at the high school was reported. The ”guts” of the door handle and the inside crash bar were found on the floor.
At 3:29 p.m., a caller reported that their unlocked motor vehicle had been entered overnight and change totaling about $7 or $8 had been taken.
At 3:45 p.m., a custodian at the high school reported doors had been damaged and the inside and outside door locks had been destroyed.
At 4:25 p.m., the proprietor of a Washington Street store reported a woman had stolen a dress.
At 4:53 p.m., a woman reported her car was broken into but nothing was taken.
At 6:22 p.m., a motor vehicle breaking and entering was reported.
At 6:33 p.m., another motor vehicle breaking and entering was reported.
At 9:07 p.m., a woman reported her car was burglarized the night before. Several dollars in change and a GPS unit were taken.
