Ex-Boyfriend Shows Up to Collect Property, Ends Up with Vehicle Towed

At 12:24 a.m., a caller that someone stole an American flag from her Jeep while she was parked at Riptide Lounge.

At 5:57 a.m., a caller reported a group of youths in the dugout at the high school baseball fields. The person checked out.

At 6:48 a.m., a person came into the station and reported he believed he knew who stalked him three or four years ago.

At 6:50 a.m., a woman complained of tree cutting noise near her home. An officer located a neighbor power washing his deck; the neighbor agreed to stop.

At 8:17 a.m., a bag of fireworks was foundo n the sidewalk.

At 11:27 a.m., a caller reported an unwanted guest on her property. Police found an ex-boyfriend attempting to retrieve property, but also found his vehicle to have a revoked registration/no insurance. The vehicle was towed and the man was given a verbal “No trespass” order.

At 11:59 a.m., graffiti was reported on a building.

At 1:46 p.m., a caller reported their car was keyed on July 3 while the caller was at work.

At 2:33 p.m., a man reported that an elderly woman who wasn’t wearing shoes approached his car on Buena Vista Road and insisted she was looking for her daughter. The woman then walked back into a nearby home. The caller knocked on the door, but no one answered. Police found the woman did have caregivers with her and simply walked away from them for a time.
