Finance Committee Says You Should Vote for $2.4M Abbot Hall Repairs

2. The Parking Ban Is Ended, Go in Peace: As of 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, the town's 2013 overnight parking ban is over.

3. Finance Committee Makes Warrant Article Recommendations: With Town Meeting just around the corner on May 6, the Finance Committee has come out with a detailed set of recommendations up or down on the various articles. I haven't had time to examine every line of this 33-page report as closely as I'd like, but I do see that they're recommending that voters go for the $2.4 million in repairs to the Abbot Hall Clock Tower. 4. Trash and Recycling Pickup Delayed One Day: Some of you with early-in-the-week pickups will have noticed this already, but because of the Patriots' Day holiday, the town will be picking up trash and recycling a day late.

5. North Shore "American Idol" Contestant Learns Results Tonight: Angie Miller of Beverly performed Wednesday as one of the top five performers on the show.
