Five Stories That Made Waves This Week

1. Aftermath of Serious Crash: Town residents continue to send their best thoughts to Cameron Sylvester, a young man who was among those injured in a terrible wreck Friday before last. Updates from this week included the arrest of the 19-year-old who was behind the wheel on charges of drunken driving and word Thursday that Sylvester's condition was listed as "fair."

2. Town's Top Restaurants As Seen By Yelp: On a lighter note, residents seemed to enjoy our review of which local eateries get the highest ratings on Yelp, an anonymous, crowd-sourced restaurant review site.

3. School System in Crisis: This week the head of the School Committee urged all her colleagues to resign. It's the latest turbulence for a system that last month learned Superintendent Greg Maass tendered his resignation.

4. Purple Heart Comes Back Home: In a bit of positive news, kids found a stolen briefcase that contained a Purple Heart. The military award for valor has since been returned to its rightful owner.

5. New Docks for Commercial Street: The nearly three-decade old docks have been replaced. We have a photo gallery of the new docks arriving.
