Grandmothers for Obama has a Marblehead Chapter. Like the many Grandmother groups around the corner, its goal is to reach out to undecided grandmothers in swing states, sending a series of three postcards with pertinent information about Obama's accomplishments and plans for a second term.
Mimi Gardner, Myrna Wormser, Nancy Arata, Nancy Easterbrooks, Joanne Silva, Claire Keyes, Joan Hollister and Jean Oliphant (from Marblehead), and Elaine Denune and Iris Kaufman (from Swampscott), along with facilitator, Betsy Morris, have mailed more than 3,000 postcards to date to registered voters in Michigan and New Hampshire.
