Group Art Show@ the Cloister Gallery at St. Andrew's Church

The Cloister Gallery at St. Andrew’s Church is featuring an exhibition of artwork by local artists Jeff Conlon, Steve Eckman and Julie Gordon. The show will open with a reception on Sunday August 16th from 11:15am-12:30 p.m. and run through Thursday October 15th. The Cloister Gallery at St. Andrew’s Church is located at 135 Lafayette St., Marblehead. The Gallery hours are M-Th 9am-4pm, F 9am-12pm, Sa 8:30-11:30am, Su 8am-12pm. Jeff Conlon is a painter, influenced by the German Expressionist Movement, who expresses himself with his art through the use of contrasting color, distortion of figures and shapes, and storytelling. Steve Eckman is a local photographer who enjoys taking photographs of sailboats, lighthouses, humorous signs, and other objects that strike his fancy. Julie Gordon creates seascape windows that are thoughtfully designed to capture the extraordinary gifts of the sea, such as sea glass, shells, seaweed and other objects, in a way that allows their exquisite beauty to shine through.
