How Safe is Marblehead Compared to Other Bay State Communities?

Marblehead was ranked one of 50 safest communities in the Bay State.
The personal finance service ValuePenguin ranked Marblehead No. 50 on its survey of the safest Massachusetts communities overall.
ValuePenguin created “Small Cities,” “Midsize Cities” and “Big Cities” categories for the Top 10 safest communities in the state. Though it didn’t make the top 10, Marblehead’s population of 20,209, according to ValuePenguin, would have placed the town in the “Big Cities” category.

Marblehead’s statistics included 84 violent crimes and 787 property crimes per 100,000 people.
