Lining of Pipes Near Commercial Street Begins Friday

The cleaning process of the pipes in the Commercial Street area has been completed, and crews are ready to begin lining the pipes.

Lining of the pipes on Walnut Street and Cliff Street is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 2 and Gregory Street and Redstone Lane is scheduled to be done on Saturday, October 3.

It is important to note that a change to this plan is possible depending on weather and other conditions, according to the water and sewer commissioners.

On both Friday and Saturday, access to these streets will be restricted between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. There could be periods throughout the day when there will be no access to the streets. Water and sewer officials said every attempt will be made to keep disruptions to a minimum.
