Little Theatre's Rock Musical, 'Next to Normal,' Opens on Friday

2. Town Meeting is Done: As befits the town's naval heritage, last night's Town Meeting was run like a tight ship, getting through all the business in about three hours. Our first report, on the decision about Abbot Hall repairs, is posted. We'll have more coverage in the coming days.

3. Town Meeting Follow-Up: Town boards have a lot to chew on in the aftermath of Town Meeting. There's a full lineup of meetings today, from the Board of Selectmen to the Planning Board.

4. Beach Run: Today, early registration closes for Saturday's Beach to Beach 5K Run/Walk. You can also register the morning of the event.

5. Rock Musical Opens This Weekend: The town's Little Theatre presents "Next to Normal," a rock musical about a mother with bipolar disorder, starting on Friday.
