Local Man Eventually Gets Marathon Tip to FBI

Tuesday, April 16
- At 10:46 a.m., police received a call from a man who had been at the Boston Marathon and had a tip for authorities but was having trouble getting through to the FBI tip line. At the marathon, he saw a man taking photographs instead of helping people who were hurt. The man with the camera was wearing gray pants with a stripe and a ballcap. Later, the caller got through to the FBI.
- At 11:22 a.m., a Sheldon Road person came into the station to report a missing passport.
- At 11:30 a.m., a son called to report his mother was on the floor and unresponsive. The woman was transported to the hospital.
- At 12 p.m., a parked car was hit on Pleasant Street.
- At 6:39 p.m., a caller from a Washington Street business reported having video of an employee stealing from a fellow employee. The property was returned.
Wednesday, April 17
- At 00:16 a.m., police received a call from Swampscott police advising them that they had a Marblehead person in custody and wanted the person's parents to come pick her up.
- At 2:35 p.m., police received a report about a student harming herself. The student was located and voluntarily agreed to go to the hospital.
- At 11:14 a.m., a Rockaway Avenue caller reported that a group of kids were banging on her door and running away. It happened about four times in an hour. One of the times they left a piece of a mannequin at the back door. She saw a large group get into a large dark-colored SUV.
