Loud Love Reported on Stramski Way

The following information was submitted by the Marblehead Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, March 22

  • At 12:10 pm., police received a report from a woman who said she left her wallet on a table at the Three Cod Tavern the night before at 7:15. She said she went to her car, realized she had forgotten her wallet and went back in to get it but it was gone. 
  • At 12:12 p.m., a purse was found in a driveway. Police called the owner. The owner picked it up and said that it had been stolen from her car while she was parked at Crosby's. 
  • At 6:57 p.m., police received a report about a possible telephone scam.
  • At 6:45 p.m., police received a report of loud love-making on Stramski Way. The person said there was a car parked on Stramski and the occupants were so loud that the person who reported it could hear them on Liberty Road. The Liberty Road person suggested police patrol the area. The person did not object to the acitivity but was concerned that people are down there after dark with the lights off and "worse thing might happen." Police units were sent to the location and reported: "Parties are fully clothed, leaving the area."
  • At 10:28, police received a report from a Sheldon Way father who said his daughter had eaten "marijuana laced brownies." 

Saturday, March 23

  • At 10:39 a.m., a person walked into the police staiton with a Samsung Boost cell phone found by a fire hydrant on Walnut Street. It looks like it belongs to someone whose first name is Andy.
  • At 4 p.m., a person came into the police station and reported that she lost her prescription glasses in a brownish/green case and sunglasses around the Front Street/ Franklin Street area or maybe Crosby's.
  • At 7 p.m., a person came into the police station and reported that she went to her bank and there were charges on the account and she wants to file charges against the party using her account.

  • At 00:12 a.m., police received a report of a young male hitting a young female as they walked on Pleasant Street. The female told police that the male did not hit her. Police brought her back to her parents' house.
  • At 11:30 a.m., police and fire units responded to a motor vehicle crash at Atlantic Avenue and Bubier Road. A vehicle ended up on the lawn at 120 Atlantic. One patient was transported to Salem Hospital.
  • At 2:10 p.m., a caller reported a past hit and run to her parked car. The caller said she had been inside a toy store and came out and noticed that her car had been side-swiped by a black or gray vehicle.
  • At 5:06 p.m., a motor vehicle crash was reported on West Street. Police and fire units responded to it.

Monday, March 25

  • At 12:23 p.m., a Pickwick Road caller reported that she received a threatening message the night before.
