Man Rescued From Redd's Pond By Citizens
Man in a wheelchair was med-flighted to Boston, condition unknown at this time.

Police are crediting local residents with helping save a man in a wheelchair who fell into Redd’s Pond on Friday afternoon.
Shortly after 3 p.m., police got several reports of a man in a wheelchair who fell into Redd’s Pond, with the wheelchair falling on top of him.
Several nearby residents helped the man by holding his head about water until emergency crews got to the scene, according to police.

The injuries to the man were serious enough that the Atlantic Ambulance crew determined a Medflight helicopter to Boston was needed.
Police and fire personnel quickly cleared and secured the landing zone at Seaside Park. The ambulance brought the victim to the field where he was quickly loaded aboard and transported into Boston for treatment. His condition is unknown to us at this time, according to police
