Marblehead Fire Department Invites Public to Open House
The annual event takes place on Saturday, Oct. 17.

The Marblehead Fire Department is inviting the public to visit during its annual open house on Saturday, Oct. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will be plenty of family fun, and everyone is invited to tour the apparatus floor and climb on board the engines.
The living quarters on the second floor will be closed, but the main bays can be toured.

There will be a smoke house as well as a squirt house and a Jaws of Life demonstration. The ladder truck will also have its 100-foot rescue ladder fully extended and a demonstration of the equipment on the trucks.
The Marblehead Police Department will also be on hand with an officer and a patrol car for questions, answers, and demonstrations.

The event is free and open to the public at the Marblehead Fire headquarters at One Ocean Avenue.
