2. No, Not That Superintendent: If you're involved in or interested in the merger between North Shore Tech and Essex Tech, tonight a new superintendent for the combined district is being chosen. Interviews begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by a vote. Meeting to be held at North Shore Technical High School, 30 Log Bridge Road in Middleton.

3. Magician Sports Watch: Spring sports are gearing up, with scrimmages taking place for the boys and girls lax squads and the softball team. Here's the schedule over the next few days.

4. Find Out Tonight If North Shore "American Idol" Contestant Advances: Angie Miller of Beverly will learn tonight if she advances to the next round of the popular national talent competition.
