Driver Turns Himself In After Marblehead Hit-And-Run
Police are searching for a white pickup truck that is said to have struck a mother and her two children this afternoon.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — A driver suspected of a hit-and-run in Marblehead on Tuesday turned himself into police after seeing a video of the incident posted online.
A mother and her two children were hit by a truck Tuesday afternoon while crossing the street near Pleasant and Bessom streets. The vehicle, described as a white pickup truck driven by a white man in his 40s, did not stop.
According to police, the 10-year-old twins and an 11-year-old were walking ahead of their mother on Pleasant Street around 3:30 p.m.

It was last seen driving outbound on Pleasant Street.
According to police, the driver claimed that he stopped to ask the victims if they were okay before leaving the scene.

The children "appear to be ok," police said. There is no word yet on the condition of the mother. The victims were in a crosswalk when struck, police said.
No charges have been filed at this time.
