Marblehead Little Theatre Sets Auditions For Plaza Suite

Marblehead Little Theatre announces non-Equity auditions for Plaza Suite by Neil Simon, directed by Steve Black with Associate Director Katie Meuse. Performances will run March 24 through April 2, 2023. Hilarity abounds in this portrait of three couples successively occupying a suite at the Plaza Hotel.

Auditions will be held on Sunday, December 18 from 2:00-4:00 pm. Auditioners are asked to prepare a one minute comedic monologue. You may be asked to stay to read from the script. Auditions, rehearsals, and performances will be held at 12 School St. Marblehead, MA. Visit us hereto schedule an audition slot. Walk-ins will be seen as time allows. Available roles include 5 female identifying and 3 male identifying characters. Please note that this production will use doublings, as is typical for this work.

Rehearsals will begin mid-January and will be held 2-3 weeknights from 6:30-9:00 pm and Sunday afternoons from 1:00-4:00 pm depending on actors’ availability. Tech week runs from March 18 from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm with tech week rehearsals March 19-22 from 6:00-9:30 pm.
