Marblehead Little Theatre Is Now Accepting Registration For Spring Children's Programs

Marblehead Little Theatre has opened registrations for children wishing to take part in its spring children's programs which begin March 16

MARBLEHEAD LITTLE THEATRE ACCEPTING REGISTRATIONS FOR SPRING CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS Marblehead Little Theatre has opened registrations for children wishing to take part in its spring children’s programs, which begin on March 16 for children ages 5 to 7 and March 26 for children ages 7-12. Parents may go to www.mltlive.org/youththeatre to complete the appropriate application and related sign-up materials. Littles Theatre for ages 5 to 7 will provide six sessions from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursdays through May 7. Theater games and stage craft are included as the group develops a short play to be performed for family and friends on the last day. The Children’s Theatre for ages 7 to 12 will rehearse from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays for 9 weeks and and will complete the season on May 15-16 with 3 performances of “Neverland Island”, an acclaimed original play created by instructors Lynda Johnson and Janet Sheehan. A full range of theatrical skills and experiences is covered in these sessions. Classes are held at MLT’s Firehouse Theatre at 12 School Street and conducted by children’s theatre veterans Lynda Johnson and Ginny Morton, along with Janet Sheehan as Musical Director and Choreographer for Neverland Island. Classes are strictly limited in size and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
