Marblehead Municipal Building Reopens After Weekend Break-In

Police said a Marblehead man wanted on an outstanding warrant was charged after damaged was found throughout the Mary Alley building.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — The Mary Alley Municipal Office Building was back open for business on Tuesday after a weekend break-in caused damage throughout the building.

Marblehead police said they responded to the report of a break-in early Monday morning and found the damage. The building was closed on Monday.

Police said an investigation led them to charge Anthony Graciale, 57, of Marblehead with breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony and damage of more than $1,200. Police said Graciale was already wanted on a warrant for a similar charge in Lynn.

He was to be arraigned in Lynn District Court on Tuesday.
