Marblehead police said the break-ins appeared to happen Monday night into Tuesday morning and resulted in stolen money and credit cards.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — A rash of car break-ins overnight in Marblehead totaled at least 15 vehicles by Tuesday morning, according to police.
Credit cards, money and personal items were missing from some of the vehicles — which were mostly left unlocked — parked both on sidestreets and driveways.
Marblehead police said they were first called to break-ins on Robert Road late Monday night, and while searching the area found two more breaks on Everett Paine Road. Those who entered the vehicles left them rummaged.

Police said they were taking reports and canvassing for security camera footage Tuesday morning.
They are asking residents who have cameras set on their cars or side streets to examine the footage for any suspicious behavior and to contact them with that information.
Police also ask that anyone who had their car entered contact them even if nothing was taken.
