Marblehead Resident Named Trustee of the Massachusetts Dental Society

John P. Fisher has a practice on Hawthorne Boulevard in Salem.

A Marblehead resident with a Salem dental practice has been elected by the North Shore District Dental Society to serve as Trustee of the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS).

John P. Fisher, DDS, has been a member of the MDS since 1975 and is a past president of the MDS.

He has previously held the position of Chair of the NSDDS and is also an active volunteer for Yankee Dental Congress, the largest dental meeting in the Northeast.

Fisher currently serves as a representative to the American Dental Association’s Council on Access, Prevention and Interprofesional Relations.

He is a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, American College of Dentists, and the International College of Dentists.

Fisher received his bachelor’s degree from The Catholic University of America, and his dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry. Active in his community, he serves on the boards of the Salem Rotary, the Salem YMCA, and North Shore Catholic Charities.

Fisher maintains a private practice at 18 Hawthorne Boulevard in Salem. He resides in Marblehead with his wife, Joy.
