Marblehead Street Named Among Best Spots to Live in Greater Boston

A street in Marblehead has been named one of the best places to live in the area.

Based on a survey of members of Massachusetts Association of Realtors and other real estate agents, the Boston Globe called Atlantic Avenue one of the top streets in Greater Boston.

In its description, the Globe described the street as starting “at a nondescript intersection in Swampscott” and traveling “right into the heart of Marblehead’s Old Town, pressing beside the water near Preston Beach en route.”

Marblehead’s median price for single-family home is $590,000, which is up more than 15 percent in the last five years.
