Marblehead Teens' Documentary Makes Final Cut in Salem Film Festival

A 5-minute documentary filmed by two Marblehead High students is a finalist in a special showcase in the 2013 Salem Film Festival.

Did you catch the steampunk version of Sweeney Todd this past fall at Marblehead High? Two students also went behind-the-scenes with the high school musical production and filmed a 5-minute documentary that's now a finalist in this year's Salem Film Festival.

MHS students Savanna Cole and Calvin Falk produced the aptly named documentary, "Behind the Scenes at Sweeney Todd," which features candid moments with the cast and crew.

The annual festival, which takes place at Cinema Salem, includes a showcase for Bay State high school students in the way of a 5-minute documentary format. The MHS production is one of the top 10 finalists selected to be screend on March 7.
