Merry Mixers Roll Out Casino Night-Themed Annual Gala, Raising Funds for MassGeneral for Children at NSMC

Merry Mixers, a non-profit organization founded in 1950 and dedicated to enhancing hospital services for children on the North Shore, announces tickets and sponsorship opportunities are now available for its annual Gala fundraising event taking place on Saturday, June 3. The 2017 Gala will feature a Casino Night theme hosted at Tedesco County Club to support pediatric behavioral health services at MassGeneral for Children at North Shore Medical Center (NSMC).

Raising funds that provide critical support for more than 5,400 local children, teens and families per year through the Family Resource Center, the Merry Mixers organization is working to surpass the $70,000 raised last year and donate $75,000 to the hospital in 2017.

“The Family Resource Center provides services integral to the healthy advancement of our children on the North Shore, supporting issues that affect everyone from new mothers to elementary school students to college-aged adults,” said Merry Mixers Board Chair Julie Pitt. “For our 2017 Gala, we are hoping to attract even more North Shore community members to support such an important cause and come together to enjoy a festive casino night under the tent at Tedesco.”

The Merry Mixers Spring Fundraiser Gala will begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, with live music by The Smoking Jackets, complimentary champagne and hors d’oeuvres. Casino Night tables will include Black Jack, Roulette and Poker, among others. Ticket cost also includes casino credits to get the games started. Tickets can be purchased at www.merrymixers.org.
