MHS Grad Jacob Sundlie Awarded Scholarship by The Marblehead Little Theatre
Marblehead Little Theatre awards their annual scholarship to MHS Senior Jacob Sundlie
The Marblehead Little Theatre awarded their annual scholarship to recent Marblehead High School graduate, Jacob Sundlie. President Steve Black presented Jacob with the scholarship check during the theatre’s annual meeting on August 3rd. Jacob was one of many students to apply for the scholarship. He stated that there were not as many opportunities at the Marblehead High School for him to be part of the production crew as at Marblehead Little Theatre. He also said it meant a lot to him to be involved with the MLT community and he learned many things during his time spent at the theatre which he will use in the future. He went on to say that he is very appreciative that Marblehead Little Theatre is here. Jacob is also a DASH award nominee for Best Youth Actor in a Play for his portrayal of Peter in The Diary of Anne Frank, presented last winter at MLT. The awards ceremony will be held later this month. Jacob will be attending Otterbein University in Ohio this fall.
