New Rash Of Marblehead Overnight Car Break-Ins
Marblehead police said there were several break-ins along the Humphrey Street and Tedesco Street corridors Sunday and Monday nights.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — At least a half dozen vehicles were broken into along the Humphrey Street and Tedesco Street corridors overnight on Sunday and Monday.
Marblehead police said there were six break-ins reported from Cedar Street early Tuesday morning and on Stratford and Westminster roads early on Monday.
It was about one month ago when Marblehead police declared a "Code RED" alert after 15 cars in the town were broken into on a Monday night as part of what police said at the time was a rash of criminal activity that occurred throughout the North Shore.

Police are asking residents in those areas with security cameras to check them to see if they caught any suspicious behavior.
"If you happened to be up or out and about during either of those nights and you feel you may have seen or heard something that could help with the investigation, you are urged to contact Marblehead Police," police said.

Those who did notice something can contact police at 781-631-1212.
"As always, let us say it first, we all should be able to leave our valuables in our cars," police said, "but please help us to minimize the likelihood of people being victimized — take any items out of your car and lock it.
"If you have an alarm system, it can’t hurt to set it when you leave your car for the night."
