Opera Gala is Grand ... Indeed
'Grand' in every sense of the word describes the upcoming Symphony by the Sea concert.

Symphony by the Sea Concert - Saturday evening, October 10 at Newburyport’s Firehouse Center and Sunday afternoon, October 11 at the Cabot in downtown Beverly.

“Come join us for a very special concert of our greatest hits from past seasons by Puccini, Rossini, and Johann Strauss, Jr.…with delightful new offerings by Mozart and Donizetti and an amazing discovery from Villa-Lobos,” says Maestro Donald Palma.
Who knew that the opera repertoire had favorite ‘hits’ let alone a ‘new discovery’ to add to the list? This program is designed to be a crowd pleaser, featuring our favorite soprano from previous years, new voices for us to relish, and memorable melodies which make the experience simply grand.

Again, Maestro Palma: “Overtures, Arias, Duets, Scenes, Waltzes…all sung by the incomparable Sara Heaton who will be joined by two newcomers to the Symphony by the Sea stage, the experienced tenor, Alan Schneider, and the energetic baritone John Salvi.”
Subscription information is available at www.symphonybythesea.org. Subscription tickets holders will receive tickets in the mail and will avoid extra handling fees. A special seating section for subscription ticket holders will be available at the Cabot.
