Travel From Paris to Provence on Thursday

The Marblehead Arts Association is presenting From Paris to Provence: An Illustrated Talk by Jim McAllister of Derby Square Tours on Thursday, Oct. 8.

The event runs from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Marblehead Arts Association at 8 Hooper Street. It is $10 for members and $15 for non-members.

McAllister’s presentation about the French art colonies will include an illustrated tour and travel to Montmarte, Monet’s Giverny, Pont-Aven, Concareau, Provence, Aix-en-Provence and the French Riviera.

You will also hear stories about the American and European artists who made these destinations their muse.
