• Marblehead firefighters put out barn fire Monday (marbleheadcurrent.org) — Marblehead firefighters quickly knocked down a barn fire at 72 Pleasant St. Monday afternoon, keeping flames contained to the first floor and preventing any injuries. Multiple 911 calls brought a fast response from Fire Chief Jason Gilliland and crews, and the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

• Marblehead physical therapist renews mission to help Nepal (marbleheadcurrent.org) — A longtime Marblehead physical therapist is teaming up with Marblehead Harbor Rotary to launch a Nepal Relief Fund after devastating flooding overseas. Drawing on years of work building rehabilitation services there, she's helping channel local donations through trusted Rotary partners to provide shelter, food, medical supplies, and rehab equipment to hard‑hit communities.
