Photos From Recent or Vintage Trips to National Parks Wanted
The Marblehead Conservancy and the Abbot Public Library are asking residents to share their photos to celebrate National Parks.

In October, the Marblehead Conservancy and the Abbot Library will be presenting two special events on the theme, “Marblehead’s Best Idea: Local Echoes of the National Park Spirit.”
They will be mounting a month-long exhibit of photographs, highlighting the spirit of protecting open space for the enjoyment of all -- a spirit that is central to the mission of both the Marblehead Conservancy and of the National Parks Service.
On Tuesday, October 20th, the evening will begin with a public reception for the exhibit in the Library’s Gallery, with a talk immediately following, by Jonathan L. Parker, Chief of Interpretation, Education and Partnerships with the National Park Service.
