Police: Kayak Power; Solicitors

At 8:09 a.m., there was a report of a woman driving erratically on Atlantic Avenue, possibly texting or talking on the phone.

At 10:18 a.m., a truck hit a corner of a house on Merritt Street and continued down the road.

At 6:33 p.m., a solicitor with no identification came to the door of a home on Seaview Avenue and asked for a $100 donation.

At 7:08 p.m., there was a smoking pool heater on Bradlee Road.

At 8:04 p.m., there was a report of a man in a kayak in Marblehead Harbor trying to tow a sailboat and that he didn’t seem to be getting anywhere.
