Police: Loud Red Pickup Going About Town; Not Very Neighborly

Friday, Sept. 25
At 9:13 a.m., a man on Mugford Street found some cash with an ATM receipt blowing across the road. The man reported it to the bank, which suggested he contact the police to see if anything had been reported.
At 11:31 a.m., there was a report of a suspicious white van on Alden Road.

At 2:13 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue, a woman called in looking to speak to someone about an old red pickup truck that is freshly painted red and has lots of chrome. She said it goes about town and frequently passes her home which she said was on a main road. Caller said the truck sounds horrible as if it has an outboard motor on it. Caller was looking to speak to someone who was familiar with mv laws, call put through to OIC. Caller refused to provide her information.
At 2:38 p.m., there was a report of an IRS phone scam call placed to a resident on Community Road.

At 3:11 p.m., there were several reports of a woman in a BMW who had struck several cars on Atlantic Avenue.
At 5:29 p.m., there was a fence on fire on Chestnut Street.
At 8:10 p.m., a car was reportedly egged on Harbor Avenue.
Saturday, Sept. 26
At 9:28 a.m., there was a report of a verbal altercation involving a motor vehicle on Cliff Street.
At 10:58 a.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on Village Street.
At 9:27 p.m., a caller reported that a neighbor came to her house and ripped out her mailbox and threw it.
